• Chronicle October 2012

Wishing a warm welcome to Libby Walsh our new administration assistant. Libby will be working 9am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday to assist residents, staff and Suzette. Please introduce yourself to Libby and make her welcome.

A positive outcome of winning the Workforce Council’s Rural and Remote –Sustainability category is that I have been invited to speak at the upcoming conference of the Qld Association of Nurse Leaders in Brisbane in October. This will be an excellent opportunity to showcase Kaloma

The basic daily care fees for the residential and community program increased on 20th September. You will recall that increases occur in March and September annually in line with pension increases. At the time of writing the actual increased amounts have not been provided by the Department of Health & Ageing.
