We pride ourselves on providing on the job training – from entry level certificates to completing nursing degrees; Kaloma encourages, acknowledges and celebrates these achievements. 

Kaloma currently employs around 100 staff in various occupations such as: 

  • registered and enrolled nurses

  • clinical manager

  • personal carers

  • cooks, kitchen hands, cleaning and laundry staff

  • maintenance /groundsman

  • lifestyle officers

  • administration

At Kaloma we greatly appreciate our volunteers; they add joy & value to our residents quality of life. If you are interested in volunteering at Kaloma, you could visit and chat with residents, write or read letters or assist with a group activity.
Volunteers are supported and coordinated by our Lifestyle Coordinator and Lifestyle Team and are provided with orientation and ongoing training. To find out more phone (07) 46711 422 ask to speak to Lifestyle Coordinator Tia Dillon.
